1. Who we are

MeaningApp is a mobile application published by Mondini IT. This policy explains what information the app processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we process

• Account and app data: an anonymous account identifier and, if account features are used, an email address. We also process your selected theme, saved phrases, language, time-zone-related settings, and app preferences.
• Notifications: notification permission status and a device messaging token may be processed to deliver reminders and notifications you request.
• Usage and diagnostics: app interactions, device and app information, crash-related data, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP may be processed by Firebase to operate, secure, and improve the app.

MeaningApp does not request precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access. The Android app does not request the advertising ID, does not show third-party advertising, and does not use data for ad personalization.

3. How we use information

We use information only as needed to:

• provide daily phrases, favorites, history, themes, and reminders;
• save and synchronize your preferences and content;
• deliver requested notifications;
• measure app performance, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability; and
• comply with applicable law and protect users, Mondini IT, and our services.

4. Service providers and sharing

MeaningApp uses Google Firebase services, including Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging, and Analytics. Google may process information on our behalf under its applicable data protection terms. Learn more in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to service providers bound to process it for the purposes described in this policy.

5. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the app, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

You can disable notifications in your device settings and clear locally stored app data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information and object to certain processing.

7. Children

MeaningApp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

8. International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate legal mechanisms and safeguards are used for international transfers.

9. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
